Talking Transitional pieces tonight on the blog.  Can’t believe it’s already mid-August…where did the summer go?  I’m currently watching the KC Chiefs play the San Fran 49er’s in a pre-season game.  I love summer, but I truly love Fall & Football season!  So here’s to some hot days still ahead that turn into chilly evenings & how I would prepare my wardrobe for this fun transition.

I’m currently burning a sweater weather candle & watching the Chiefs beat the 49er’s in a pre-season game.  I’d call that a pretty good night. 🙂

I wanted to share some thoughts on transitional pieces that work for both hot summer days & cooler fall-feeling nights.  I have been loving all the sleeve details lately & found the cutest bell sleeve style pullover here & here.  I own both and can’t decide which I love more.

I like the idea of wearing shorts through August and even into September but pairing them with a long sleeve pullover or duster/cardigan.  Ofcourse, I would wear my all time FAVORITE denim shorts in this post.  They are so comfortable & I love the destruction and high-waist.

There were a TON of booties from the Nordy sale that I fell in love with.  I have a thing with shoes, they truly are my biggest weakness.  These booties by Sam Edelman quickly became my favorite to wear with jeans and shorts. I love the taupe grey color (pictured) and the light blue color as well.  They are so comfy & run TTS.

Hope you all have the best weekend!

Thanks so much for stopping by,
x0x – Karlie
