Flipping through this week with a thankful heart!  It was so nice spending extra time with friends and family over the holiday weekend, but MAN do I have trouble getting back into a workout routine.  Ya know they say you shouldn’t take days off, but I could have sworn my gym was closed on the weekends. ??

Most mornings you will find me at the gym (LifeTime Fitness) with no makeup, my hair in a messy bun & if you’re lucky I’ve remembered to brush my teeth. ?? (Joking, I at least do that). The nice thing about my morning routine is child care ????  provided by LT Fitness & the amazing classes and instructors who truly care about your health and well being.  Now, I will tell ya that during the workout you may feel differently, because it’s usually pretty brutal.  haha… Anyway, having workout wear that is comfortable for all-day and is also functional for actual exercise is REALLY important to me!

I have had a lot of questions as to what I wear to workout in, so I decided to do a two-part series on workout wear! ????

These New Balance shoes are a new arrival and I have been wearing them non-stop; they come in 4 color options and of course I had to order the pink ones!

The high waisted leggings are really stretchy in a good way, but still hold you in during a workout.

I love the alo and lululemon activewear, but I do have a secret for all of you gals who don’t like to spend a fortune on workout clothes.  I’m all about splurging on shoes and leggings, but I have found the cutest sports bras and tanks at Forever21, Target and Old Navy.  I have this tank with the open back detail, along with these shorts and this sports bra, and all of these items are under $20 each.  I also have this open shoulder top  (under $20) with the cut-out detail, which is adorable!

Bottom line, it is OKAY to splurge on a good pair of shoes and leggings, and then save on your tops and sports bras.

Side note: If you do a lot of INTENSE training I would totally recommend buying some high impact sports bras.

Go get your workout in & have an awesome day! ????
