I can’t believe my Ayla-Bug is 5! She is the silliest, sweetest little girl & I’m so glad she’s mine. 🙂 She turned 5 on March 14, and it was so fun to have a party to celebrate with friends and family on Saturday! I’m sharing all the party pics and details! Be prepared to jump up and CHEER…
When one of my best friends started her own Event/Party Business (Party by Pek), I just knew I would need her help planning Ayla’s Birthday! Megan has always loved planning her kiddo’s Birthday Parties. My girls always have a great time at all of her parties & so when she started her business it was a no-brainer for Ayla’s 5th to be a Party by Pek! 🙂
This party was inspired by a Nebraska Husker Cheerleader the girls met after a basketball game this season! (Side Note: I didn’t even know Nebraska had a Basketball team, I’m a Kansas girl but my hubby is converting the girls at an early age). 😉
Each of Ayla’s friends got to take home a photo with the Birthday Girl! We used Ayla’s pink FujiFilm Instax Mini Camera to snap the picture!
This party was a HUGE hit. The girls decorated cones (megaphones) with chocolate chips, marshmallows, chocolate & vanilla frosting! Then we had a scavenger hunt around the house. They had to look for colorful megaphones filled with party favors to add to their personalized bags. And let’s talk about these bags, SO CUTE! Party by Pek did an awesome job with these!
We had some local High School Cheerleaders come surprise the girls! They taught them a couple cheers, and played ‘Little Sally Walker’ PLUS each of Ayla’s friends got a chance to do a stunt with the REAL cheerleaders! At first, all of the little girls were starstruck! I am still singing, “Little Sally Walker, walking down the street, she didn’t know what to do so she stopped in front of me & said, Hey girl…” 😉
We also had a gift opening area & each of Ayla’s friends got a chance to sit next to her in a fancy white chair while their gift was being opened. I think it made her friends feel extra special, I loved watching their little faces light up!
The cake was delicious! HenHouse has always been my go-to for Birthday cakes and they do amazing! I also love the history behind this local grocery store.

Megan (Party by Pek) was amazing to work with. She thinks through everything & makes it seem so easy to entertain 20 little girls for 2 hours. The day was so special and exactly how Ayla wanted it to be! The best part was being together with friends & family.
